This was one of the easiest activities. I was able to enter / post information and go on the the Google Doc Live. I could see where this would be helpful for monitoring a class assignment to track progress- similar to what is being done with this assignment. This would be helpful in sharing with peers or department members as well.
I enjoyed this thing.

Thing 14
I truly enjoy social networking through Facebook, but having 17 students ask for friend status was a little unnerving. I did not accept their requests. I joined Facebook as a way to keep in touch with my children. I generally communicate through email, but I like being able to read their quick postings. For me Facebook would not be my primary method of communication, too open to the public
Thing 13
I selected Delicious as my social bookmarking program. Although the other program has some features i truely liked i.e. posted notes, I still liked Delicious better.

I forgot my Yahoo account info, so I created an account for my husband and bookmarked and tagged under his name. Sorry but I wanted to keep moving forward. When I get my Yahoo account info I will reented the bookmark. But, I can social network his information and enter in to the bookmarks that way. Learned many things through this aspect of the 23 Things. Can not wait to learn what is next.

Posting through the Layout Tab was easy. I selected a useful widget. There was an education widget on the other page which I will revisit as I continue with the tasks.

FLickr would be a useful tool for teachers especially when comparisons are being taught. Commercial photographs can be uploaded for this purpose. One example would be historic photographs of town and recent photographs can be viewed for comparisons.
A photograph can help a student write a thousand words.

Found Flickr equally easy to use as Snapfish, which is the family choice. Have uploaded picture to blog "baby Wesley" Agust 25,2009.
Thing 4
I used my Juno homepage as the one to revise. It was interesting to learn what could be added and what could be removed. I was happy to be able to reduce the items viewed when the home page opens. The custom home page seems to have helped the speed of my computer. The home page now comes right up.

Another milestone passed! I was amazed at the number of blogs available to read.
having a three year old granddaughter with a blog I an proud to be able to say I have one too.
The blogs presented for review contain a wide and impressive variety of information. I am impressed at what can be found in blogs.
